Obama vs. Romney Parody – Part 14

At Last… It’s Voting Day!

Obama biting gold POTUS medal
Romney biting gold POTUS medal

At the end of the day, will we finally have a clear result so that one candidate will send the other a congratulatory message and the other one be able to bite the gold POTUS medal? Let’s hope so, but I wouldn’t count on it.

Ed Pilkington in the Guardian, give several senarios in which we could wake up on Wednesday with the results undecided. It is possible that the results are so close that we need to wait until all the absentee ballots are counted, or even worst, the possibility of litigation over voting irregularities. Let’s hope not!

Paul West of the Washington Bureau, says that the ‘polls give Obama edge over Romney, but it is too close to call!’ However, Ezra Klein in the Washington Post is willing to go out on a limb and predict that ‘the polls will be right and Obama will win with 290 electoral votes’ Not so quick, argues Josh Jordon of National Review, the independent voters give Romney a chance to win big.

Let’s hope that we have a POTUS for the next four years clearly decided so that Abigael Evans doesn’t have to hear any more about Bronco Bama and Mitt Romney.
